The event featured remarks from Georgia Entertainment Founder and CEO Randy Davidson, Savannah Film Commissioner Walker Dalton, and Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bert Brantley, highlighting the continued growth of Savannah's entertainment industry. The evening was made possible through the support of several local partners and industry organizations.

Savannah Jazz and Hindsight Film Festival will present a free screening of 'The Disappearance of Miss Scott' on July 26 at the Savannah History Museum. The PBS American Masters documentary explores the life and legacy of jazz pianist, singer, and civil rights trailblazer Hazel Scott. The event includes a free self-guided tour of the Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame exhibit from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by the documentary screening at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free, though a $10 donation is encouraged to support Savannah Jazz. Advance registration is recommended.
